I will be visiting my hometown for two weeks.
It feels strange to go back. Since I feel I became another person. But something in the heart will never change.

Because all what we have is now
Thank you Bellamy for featuring my photo book in japancamerahunter.com.
I had great time shooting pictures with couturier Michiru Murakami and dancer Yu Kimura.
I got goosebumps when I saw her performing! She has such great intuition and raw talent.
It’s days like these when I truly realise that I was born to take a photo.

Here is my Lensculture Emerging Talent 2015 entry. Please feel free to share.
I updated my Fujifilm Finepix X100 review. I encourage everyone to update to the latest firmware Ver.2.10.
Welcome to my fifth private photo exhibition in Japan!
I will hold two special events, one in 4th of July and one in 18th with my piano live and free session with other musicians. The events start from 13:00 in afternoon. Entrance is free of charge.

I joined Tondo. The concept of open and non-commercial art community is so great. So far there has been none successful ones. The site shows promise and there are a lot of activity already . I sincerely wish this will be success.
UPDATE: Sadly the site became inaccessible several times during my first try “Safari Can’t find the server”.
I had the pleasure to be a photographer in The Finnish Institute in Japan event,
「女性として、母として生きるーフィンランドと日本 それぞれの姿ー」Lifestyle of Mothers and Women in Finland and Japan, (approximate translation).
The event was booked full with more than hundred attendees. Especially memorable was Marja Viitahuhta’s manifest for women.

Here is my list of 10 great Japanese photo books. The list is unordered and does not represent necessarily the greatest photo books there are. Japanese photography is amazing because it’s so diverse; all genres are so strongly represented. Myself I like certain kind of photography, so I wanted to choose the ones that I love most.
