Tatsuo Suzuki
I am big fan of Tatsuo Suzuki. His photos are really honest, confronting but in a very proper way. He is one of the rare, huge talents in Japanese street photography scene.
I wonder what he shoots with. Looks like maybe tri-x.
Definably check him out in flickr:

Evening Moment
Here’s one of the non-flash images I shot with X100. Had some big troubles with autofocus in this dim light. ISO3200 is really clean what comes to noise. In fact I added some grain to this in Lightroom to make the image look more dynamic.
I realized however that having flash is a must for this type of outdoor night photography.
From Here and Now
This is the final photo of the series “Island Mother” which we shot in Enoshima in March.
Documentary of Pin Pin Co
I had great time shooting a documentary of Pin Pin Co yesterday. She is doing a project “More than the Face” in BankART NYK in Yokohama. I was really moved about her artistic style and execution.
My documentary will be finished in next weeks. On the mean while, you can learn more from Pin Pin Co at her website: http://pinpinco.com
